A regular geocache involving a gentle walk along the banks of the River Lugg.

Unlike some of my other local caches this one is a much easier walk. It takes you along the River Lugg through a wooded valley and out into an open meadow. The lanes around here can be very narrow so park considerately. I would suggest parking at 52°16.589'N, 2°56.220'W where there is space for a car or two near the small building on the corner. Don't try driving any closer to the cache as the road down to the Old Mill is private and only used as a public footpath.

On the way you will see Kinsham Court high above you. Be sure to bring binoculars if you have them as there is an abundance of wildlife around here. When placing the cache I was delighted to see an otter in the river not 10ft away from where I was standing (at 52°16.801'N, 2°55.790'W) and there were buzzards circling overhead. A word of warning, it was quite muddy when I placed the cache, so be sure to wear boots in the winter and after rain!

The satellite reception on the way to the cache can be very poor due to the steep valley sides and the trees but should be fine at the cache location. The cache box is a medium plastic box with a black lid and is protected in a Ziploc bag. If the bag gets damaged I'll remove it.
