Although the cache location itself is nothing out of the ordinary, it's located on the Black and White Trail which starts in nearby Leominster. The village of Dilwyn (just down the lane) features on this tour or some of the prettiest villages in Herefordshire along with the neighbouring Weobley, Eardisland and Pembridge. You can get leaflets about the trail from the Tourist information centre in Leominster.
Also nearby is Dunkerton's Cider Mill where you can sample cider made from local apples (including those you can just see from the cache site) and a Cheese making outfit at Monkland.
The cache itself is a large ammo box, clearly labelled.
Please park your car with consideration as it is a very narrow lane, I would suggest parking outside the double gates at the north end of the adjacent garden, being careful not to block the farm track. The owner of the house has given his permission for you to park there!!!
If you have time, you are very welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a chat (hence the cache title). My phone number is inside the front cover of the logbook or just walk down the garden path and take pot luck. If you meet Sam (the dog), he's
very friendly, especially with children, but get a bit boisterous so be prepared for a warm, wet welcome.
This replaces the original listing on GC.com which now refers to a nearby micro cache (containing details of this one!).
