Premium Memberships
Premium Memberships are available in the TC Store for those interested in supporting the site, and are available for $30/year or $3 for 30 days.
Premium Memberships do not come with a guarantee of sponsorship. Premium Memberships are optional, but sponsorship is, and will always be, required. If you lose sponsorship and are unable to get re-sponsored you may request a pro-rated refund of the time remaining on your Premium Membership.
All of the basic features necessary to participate in TerraCaching will always remain free to all sponsored members. Premium Membership will never be a requirement to simply have fun here.
Premium Membership Payments are processed through PayPal.com. If paying with a credit card, you do not need a PayPal account, unless you want the automatic renewal option.
Free Premium Memberships
Free premium memberships can also be earned by:
- Owning a cache with the highest MCE within 100 miles. (minimum 5.0 MCE required) http://www.terracaching.com/images/badges/5.gif
- Having the highest UCR on your state, province, or country leaderboard. http://www.terracaching.com/images/badges/290.gif http://www.terracaching.com/images/badges/490.gif
Benefits
Premium Memberships currently come with the following extra features:
* Cache descriptions, hints and log text included in the downloadable GPX files.
* Keyword searches for traditional and locationless caches (i.e. "Maze").
* Search for traditional caches by nearby populated place names (i.e. "Dallas Texas").
* Use some HTML in cache descriptions.
* Get cache recommendations from the PCA algorithm.
* Create your own unique stats banner.
* Use the Ratings Manager to compare all of your cache ratings and make adjustments to them from a central location.
* Use the Sponsored Users Manager, helping you keep track of who you've sponsored and their activity.
* Send group email to all of the users you've sponsored.
* Watch caches prior to achieving the Certified TerraCacher Badge requirement.
* Watch more than 50 caches at a time.
* Opt-in to get email alerts of new locationless caches.
